About Us
Slip Tube Enterprises is a Canadian manufacturer and installer of heavy and medium duty polyskin greenhouses and fabric tarpaulin/vinyl covered shelters.
Established in 1981, our professional and skillfully qualified team provides commercial and residential solutions for any shelter and greenhouse needs in Canada and beyond.

Our team at Slip Tube consists of welders, fabricators, designers and installers.
Jeff Smith — Owner/CEO
Jeff is co-owner of the company, and has a wealth of experience and knowledge at Slip Tube having been with the company for over 10 years. He has his hands in all aspects of the business including but not limited to design, quoting, managing employees and installation. Jeff became a partner in Slip Tube in 2018, and became sole proprietor of the business in 2021.
Jeff enjoys travelling, camping, golfing and fishing with his two sons. Jeff’s parents, Tom and Janet Smith, have had immeasurable influence on his successes.
Robyn Smith— Owner/Sales and Admin
Robyn is co-owner of Slip Tube. She brings years of sales, service and people management experience to her role here, which consists of a little bit of everything. When she’s not at work, she’s a busy mom of two boys. When she has a moment to herself, she enjoys softball, volleyball, snowboarding and cooking with a great bottle of wine!
Shawn Patel — Operations Manager
Shawn joined the Slip Tube team in 2021 and hit the ground running. In the last 5 years, Shawn has learned the in’s and out’s of creating a structure from front to back. He has an innate ability to think critically about every building’s unique design and to create efficiencies for both Slip Tube and the customer. When he’s not at work, Shawn enjoys watching sports, going to comedy shows, and the great outdoors!
Imam Khan — Welder
Imam is an experience welder who is up to any Slip Tube task. Happily married with two kids, his passion is travelling together with his family. Imam holds all CWB tickets and has the ability to weld anything we design to the highest standards.
Sean Beckett — Fabricator/Shipper/Receiver
Sean has been with Slip Tube for 6 years. In those years he has clinched and maintained the record for the fastest and most detail oriented fabricator that Slip Tube has ever had. Sean takes a lot of pride in his work, and ensures that our structures go out the door efficiently and accurately. When not at work, Sean spends ALL his spare time at the range or the golf course. We are not even sure if he sleeps or eats….just golf. We’re wondering why he’s not on the tour…Haha!
Leanne — Book keeper
Leanne brings 40 years of bookkeeping experience with her to Slip Tube. She is detail oriented and an extremely hard worker. When Lee is not working she can be found day drinking on the golf course, brushing up on celeb gossip, or spending time with her many nieces and nephews!
